The civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s has brought not only military damage, but also a major post-war trauma, which has existed for the past 25 years and will, possibly, affect the next generation. Events of those years were misrepresented by mass media and non-governmental organizations which focused exclusively on the muslim population disregarding the situation in Serbia. During the discussion "Findings of independent commissions: Serbian victims of the civil war in Sarajevo in 1991-1995 and victims of all nations in the area of Srebrenica in 1991-1995" hosted by the Gorchakov Fund on September 14, the experts came to a conclusion that initators of that terrible crime should not be searched for on the Serbian side.
Dr. Yelena Ponomareva, President of International Institute of Development of Science Cooperation, Professor at the Department of Comparative Political Science at MGIMO University, was moderating the discussion.
