Winners of the contest “I am an Ambassador of my Country” have been announced!
An open correspondence essay contest “I am an Ambassador of my Country” ended within the framework of the international project "School of Media Diplomacy" sponsored by the Gorchakov Fund.
119 applications for the contest had been received from the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The judges of the contest evaluated how specific characteristics of the countries, represented by the participants, had been revealed, how the analysis of relations with other CIS countries had been handled as well as the participants’ views on prospects of development of the international dialogue.
The following winners were selected:
- Vladimir Nezhdanov (Tyumen),
- Alexey Kolykhayev (Yaroslavl),
- Artem Prudnikov (Vitebsk),
- Tatyana Risnyanskaya (Lugansk).
The winners will receive diplomas and attend the international workshop “School of Media Diplomacy”, which will be held on December 14-17 in Moscow. The agenda of the workshop includes educational tours and training sessions held by the best experts in media and international relations, business games and much more.
The organizers of the contest, which targeted introduction of young people to values of international cooperation among the CIS states and creation of the common media space, included magazine “History of St. Petersburg, Council of Youth and Children’s Associations of Luganshchina, newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda” in Moldova and Volgograd Non-Governmental Organization for Protection of Rights and Interests of Children and Youth “The Federation of Children’s Organizations”.
