TV company Amur presented future projects of the Gorchakov Fund and the Russkiy Mir Foundation in Blagoveshchensk

Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University (BSPU) actively works both with Russian and foreign foundations. In April-May, two meetings are planned to be held with the support of the largest Russian organizations – the Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.


Information about that was mentioned on the air of State Television and Radio Company Amur.


Both events are planned to be held with the support of Autonomous NGO Institute of Public Diplomacy of the Asia-Pacific Region, specifies the source.


The first event – a meeting between Russian and Chinese experts - should take place in Harbin. A similar event was held at BSPU at the premises of Heihe University in the end of 2015. Now, the scale of the event is planned to be expanded and a larger number of experts from leading think tanks of Beijing, Harbin Academy of Social Sciences, Harbin universities, the Amur region and Moscow will be involved. Proposed topics of the discussion include coupling of the Silk Road and the EEU, providing security in the Asia-Pacific region, and humanitarian cooperation, according to the message.


In May of 2017, scientific methodological seminar for specialists in Russian philology from northeast China and the Far East of Russia will take place. The first similar meeting was already held in October of this year at the Usadba Volga near the city of Harbin. A decision was made to hold this seminar annually, continues GTRK Amur.


In May of 2017, with the support of the Chinese side, specifically Confucius Institute, an annual conference “Russia and China: History and Prospects for Cooperating” will be held. The forum is dedicated to current problems related to development and cooperation between the two countries at the modern stage. This conference will be the seventh one. Over time it has become known on all-Russian and all-Chinese levels and it is attended by prominent scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok as well as Beijing, Shanghai and Harbin. According to the tradition, the first part of the conference takes place in Blagoveshchensk, and the second part – in China. This year, within the framework of Chinese participation, the participants will also visit Dalian, mentioned authors of the story.
