Transformation of international relations in the 21st century was discussed at the conference supported by the Gorchakov Fund

On April 27, the 4th International Conference and Workshop “Transformation of International Relations in the 21st Century: Challenges and Prospects” was organized at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia with the support of the Gorchakov Fund.

Over 200 participants attended the forum, including scientists from top European think tanks, representatives of major Moscow universities, research institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academic institutions of the CIS, representatives of the Military Academy under the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and faculty members of the Diplomatic Academy.

The conference was organized within the framework of six sessions: “Problems of International Security”, “International Relations and Regional Problems: Theory and Practice”, “Global Politics and Soft Power”, "Strategic Communication and Media", “The CIS and Europe”, “Young Scientists about International Relations”, and roundtable “The Role of Public Diplomacy in Development of the International Dialogue”.

Main parameters of development and implementation of international cooperation in countering common challenges and threats in modern international relations were identified during the sessions and the discussions of the reports.
