The VII International Russian-Chinese Summer School in International Relations will be held with the support of the Gorchakov Fund. Call for applications!

On July 6, the VII International Russian-Chinese Summer School in International Relations “Economic Instruments of Foreign Policy in the Modern World” will open in Moscow. It will be held with the support of the Gorchakov Fund.

 

According to organizers, classes will be dedicated to economic tools of foreign policy, which become increasingly important in the modern world (sanctions, aid policy, cooperation within multilateral platforms on economic issues with special emphasis on BRICS, SCO, and EEU).

 

International experience of imposing and avoiding sanctions, trade and economic investments, and financial cooperation on multilateral platforms, different aspects of the aid policy as a tool of the foreign policy will be discussed during the Summer School.

 

The International Russian-Chinese Summer School has been held annually since 2011 at the premises of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the National Research University - Higher School of Economics (HSE) in cooperation with East China Normal University (Shanghai). The Summer School in 2017 will continue previous similar frameworks of Russian-Chinese cooperation, reminds the source.
