The VI International Russian-Chinese Summer School in International Relations is taking place in Moscow with support of the Gorchakov Fund

The VI International Russian-Chinese Summer School in International Relations “The Role of Institutions in New Architecture of Global Governance” has opened in Moscow. The event was arranged by National Research University Higher School of Economics and East China Normal University (Shanghai) with support of the Gorchakov Fund.

 

The Gorchakov Fund held its own lecture on the topic of “Future of Great Eurasia” within the framework of the project. The lecture was delivered by Andrey Bezrukov, Advisor to the President of Rosneft and Associate Professor of Applied Analysis of International Problems at MGIMO.

 

The expert presented an overview of the current situation in Russia, the US, the EU and China, and provided an assessment of the current world order and the crises, which the world had encountered. He also held a comparative analysis of “eastern” and “western” alternatives for Russia.

 

The speaker mentioned an important role of SCO and RIC in the system of regional security and shared an opinion regarding conditions, under which stability in the Eurasian space is possible.

 

The International Russian-Chinese Summer School has been held annually since 2011. Over 70 Chinese and 100 Russian students have taken part in the classes during the past years.


The Gorchakov Fund has supported the event for the second time.
