The International Diplomatic Games will take place in Chelyabinsk with the support of the Gorchakov Fund
The final stage of the II International Diplomatic Games – the largest project of the Faculty of Eurasia in the field of diplomacy and international relations – will be held in Chelyabinsk on February 9. The contest, organized with the support of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, is dedicated to the Diplomat’s Day, which is celebrated on February 10.
The intellectual-creative contest among high school students was organized by the Faculty of Eurasia and East of Chelyabinsk State University and the Graduate Association of CSU. The Diplomatic Games are held with the support of government, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Civic Chamber of the Chelyabinsk region. The topic of the contest is “SCO’s Expansion: Problems and Prospects”.
69 teams from 21 federal entities of the Russian Federation as well as from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova took part in the preliminary stage of the contest. Eight teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova were shortlisted.
The contestants for the grand prix will have to convincingly present selected countries and their role in SCO, demonstrate their knowledge and discussion skills and prepare the address to the world community on global challenges to international security.
The final stage of the II International Diplomatic Games will take place on February 9 in the conference hall of Drama Building of CSU (129 Bratyev Kashirinykh St.). The beginning is at 3:00 pm (1:00 pm Moscow time).
