The Gorchakov Fund will sponsor the best projects of foreign participants of “Eurasia” forum!
The Gorchakov Fund is announcing a grant competition within the framework of International Youth Educational Forum “Eurasia”, which will take place on September 4-10 in the Orenburg region.
The initiator of the forum was Governor of the Orenburg region Yuri Berg. According to the order of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, “Eurasia” was included into a pool of all-Russian forum platforms in 2018.
The goal of the event is to create an international communications platform for friendly, professional and humanitarian cooperation of young people from the countries of Eurasia united by ideas of the Russian world.
The total number of participants of the forum is 800. The volunteer corps of “Eurasia” will be represented by 180 volunteers. Leaders of youth NGOs, young journalists,college instructors, leaders of youth organizations of political parties, student government and student sport clubs, young scientists and creative youth will come to the Orenburg region. MGIMO (U) under MFA of Russia will become an operator of the educational program. Four consecutive topic-based days and one presentations day are planned.
Citizens of Russia or foreign countries located on the continent of Eurasia, ages 18-35 on the day of registration, are invited participate in the educational program of the forum. Citizens of countries located on other continent may attend as guests.
The grant competition is organized by the Gorchakov Fund with the support of the Organizing Committee of the forum, Rosmolodezh and Rossotrudnichestvo. Over 150 young leaders from all over the world will arrive as part of the “New Generation” program and will also be able to take part in the grant competition. The contest committee will include top exerts in foreign affairs, representatives of government agencies and international youth organizations.
A “conveyor of projects” with grants for individuals in the amount of 150 000-300 000 rubles will be organized. The Gorchakov Fund will sponsor the best three projects of the foreign participants for the total amount of 600 000 rubles.
The competition will be held in two stages: by mail and in person (defense of a project) stages.
