24 April 2017

The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund hosted participants of the 6th session of international youth project Russian School of Politics.

During the meeting, the attendees of RSP were able to discuss key issues in the field of “soft power” of Russia, learn about main programs and grant areas of the Fund, and also had a chance to suggest their projects for joint implementation in the future.

Major topics and proposals were related to increasing presence of Russia in youth and humanitarian areas in the countries of the post-Soviet space and expanding inter-university cooperation through programs of expert and academic exchanges.

This year, Russian School of Politics brought together over 50 young participants from 14 countries of Eurasia. The project, which was launched in 2014, receives regular support from the Gorchakov Fund. During the work week, the attendees of RSP visited federal and executive authorities of the Russian Federation, discussed social and political topics with leaders of major political parties and met with experts in the fields of political and public diplomacy.

In the end of the one-week program, the participants received an opportunity to visit Rossotrudnichestvo and the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
