The Gorchakov Fund at CFDP Lecture Center: “World Order: Cancellation, Repair or Rebuilding?”
On September 30, 2020 the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund in partnership the Council of Foreign and Defense Policy will organize lecture “World Order: Cancellation, Repair or Rebuilding?” as part of the project “Laboratory of historical memory”.
The United Nations has celebrated its 75th anniversary – it is a serious age and important stage. The UN was created to avoid terrible turmoil experienced by the world in the first half of the 20th century. Has it kept its ability to support international stability and security? CFDP member, deputy editor-in-chief of Profile Magazine Artem Kobzev and Academic Advisor at the Center for Comprehensive International and European Studies at the Higher School of Economic Timofey Borodachev will discuss world crises of the recent years and decades, the role of the UN and other institutions of the modern world, the shape of the new world order and many other topics.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:30 pm at the premises of ZIL Cultural Center (4/1 Vostochnaya St., 3rd floor).
