Smolensk welcomes young humanities majors from Russia and Belarus
Research and educational program for young humanities majors from Russia and Belarus “Russia and Belarus: History and Culture in the Past and in the Present”, sponsored by the Gorchakov Fund, has opened in Smolensk at Smolensk State University.
Experts and students from different regions of Russia and Belarus will attend the event. During five working days the participants and the experts will study different problems associated with the current state of Russia-Belarus relations and discuss different historical topics.
In addition to that, the agenda will offer a number of cultural and historical tours, including visits to the Khatyn Memorial, Talashkino Estate and several touristic attractions of Smolensk.
