A roundtable “Russian-Polish Dialogue for the Next Generation, organized by the Center for Post-Soviet Studies of MGIMO with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, was held at MGIMO.

According to the source, an informal exchange of opinions on the topics of regional context of cooperation between Russia and Poland, issues of effectiveness of the “soft power” in interaction between the two countries, potential and limitations of economic cooperation, and the situation in the field of regionals security took place at the roundtable.


Expert of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund Anna Velikaya participated in the discussion.


The roundtable “Russian-Polish Dialogue for the Next Generation” was held within the framework of the project, which targets establishing a dialogue between Russian and Polish researchers of the middle-age generation (ages 30-40). Based on the results of the discussion and cooperation of the Russian and Polish research groups, a scientific report will be published, mentions the source.
