RAYU organized a screening of the documentary about the Stalingrad Battle
On February 23, the first night of documentary directed by Vladimir Rusanevich “We remember Stalingrad”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the crucial battle during the Great Patriotic War, will take place at Yerevan’s movie theater “Moscow.
The event was organized by NGO Russia-Armenian Youth Unity, which had been working in Armenia for 16 years and is the first official registered union of Russia-Armenian youth. It is the third documentary dedicated to veterans of the Great Patriotic War presented by the organization with the support of the Embassy of Russia in the Republic of Armenia and Russian Center of Science and Culture in Yerevan, Chairman of RAYU Goar Gumashyan informed press service of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
According to him, the war veterans – heroes of the film – were invited to attend the first night as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia Ivan Volynkin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk, management of the United Council of Veterans of the Republic of Armenia, management of Russian Center of Science and Culture in Yerevan, representatives of different Russian and international companies doing business in Armenia, secondary school and college students.
Partners of the event are the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Youth Foundation of Armenia, Moscow House of Compatriots, NGO Djavakh Diaspora of Russia and Moscow branch of Union of Armenians of Russia.
