May 23. The School on Central Asia is opening in Bishkek!
On May 23, the School on Central Asia, one of the oldest research and educational programs of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, is opening in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
During the previous year, the Fund frequently held roundtables, academic discussions, meetings with respected scientists, journalists and experts on the topic of post-Soviet space in hospitable Bishkek. Those discussions were held at leading universities of the Kyrghyz Republic and sparked great interest among the audience. They were held in the atmosphere of friendship and trust, with readiness not to avoid at times difficult questions, but to discuss them, listen to and hear each other.
Classes at the School on Central Asia will gather attendees from a number of former Soviet republics as well as representatives of non-CIS countries. Alongside the seminars within the framework of the project, lectures by well-known Russian and Kazakh experts will be held in Bishkek.
