Lecture by Alexey Fenenko “The Yalta-Potsdam World Order: What is the Safety Margin?”
The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund invites you to attend a lecture by Associate Professor of the Department of International Security of Lomonosov Moscow State University Alexey Fenenko. The topic of the lecture is “The Yalta-Potsdam World Order: What is the Safety Margin?”. The event will take place in Moscow at the Gorchakov Fund on May 21 at 7:00pm.
The Great Patriotic War ended 74 years ago – on May 9, 1945. World War II, of which it was a part, ended four months later – on September 2, 1945. However, we still continue living in the world order created based on its results. What is the safety margin of that order? Can it repeat the fate of the previous world orders – the Peace of Westphalia and the Treaty of Vienna?
Following the lecture, the audience will have an opportunity to participate in a discussion with the speaker.
