Journalists on an icebreaker: The Arctic Youth Media School has ended in Murmansk
Russia, the U.S., Canada, and countries of Northern Europe – such different countries are united by the Arctic. How to find a common language under political and economic conditions and establish an international dialogue about the present and the future of the Arctic? Journalists of the Arctic region were searching for answers in Murmansk where on October 14-18 the Arctic Youth Media School – a joint project of the Gorchakov Fund and Association “Russian-Baltic Media Center” – was taking place.
Participants of the projects – young journalists and bloggers interested in the topics of the Arctic – not only took part in the discussions and presented their media projects, but also visited a nuclear-power icebreaker.
