International BRICS School, organized by the Gorchakov Fund and RNC BRICS, has opened in Moscow
On August 27, International Research and Educational Program “BRICS School” has opened in Moscow. It was organized by the Russian National Committee on BRICS Research together with the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
BRICS School is a program for training young specialists studying cooperation among members of intergovernmental association BRICS in political, economic and humanitarian fields and specific areas of the five-country interaction.
The organizers aim at expanding a pool of young experts-BRICSologists to form a talent pipeline and further develop a youth track of cooperation within BRICS.
35 diplomats, young scientists, journalists, students and post-graduates from Russia, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, the CIS countries, Europe and Asia, ages 18- 35, have arrived in Moscow. The participants of the program will have a unique opportunity to expand their professional horizons, develop communications skills, study in detail specifics of cooperation between member countries of the BRICS association, their positions on the world area, prospects for institutionalization of the BRCS framework, long-term goals and tasks of the organization.
During five days, lectures by top Russian and foreign experts, discussions and analytical brain storms on assigned topics, master classes and presentations will take place.
The program is implemented with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.
The conference will end on August 31.
