On May 30, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier will open Russian-German seminar the Potsdam Conference.
On the Russian side, Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund Leonid Drachevsky, Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Europe RAS Vladislav Belov, President of St. Petersburg State University Lyudmila Verbitskaya, Executive Director of the Institute of Europe RAS Alexey Gromyko, Executive Director of the Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations Alexander Dynkin, Chairman of the Commission for Foreign Affairs of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy Fedor Lukyanov, Head of the Administration of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Dzhakhan Poplyev, Rector of MGIMO (U) under MFA of Russia Anatoly Torkunov, Special Envoy of the President of Russia for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy and others will participate in the event.
Expert on Eastern Europe and Research Director of the German-Russian Forum Alexander Rar will also take part in the meeting. Sputnik-Germany talked to him about what ways of improving relations with Russia will be discussed at the event.
