Forum “Eurasia”, where the best projects will be sponsored by the Gorchakov Fund, is opening in Orenburg
Young activists from Eurasian countries will receive financial support for their own projects. The grant competition will take place within the framework of International Youth Educational Forum “Eurasia”, which will open on September 4 in Orenburg.
The forum will serve as a platform for communication among a thousand of participants from Russia and foreign countries. The main mission of the project is to unite youth from different countries of the Eurasian continent around the idea of the Russian world. According to instructions of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, in 2018 “Eurasia” has been included into the list of All-Russian Forum Platforms.
The agenda of the event includes meetings, educational workshops, lectures, and creative platforms. Guests of the forum will include Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko and Deputy Head of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia Pyotr Tolstoy.
Roman Grishenin, Deputy Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, will tell participants about “soft power” and public diplomacy. Alexander Bugayev, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, will take part in the discussion about prospects of international humanitarian cooperation.
“Eurasia” will become a platform of the All-Russia Contest of Youth Projects organized by Rosmolodezh. The total amount of the grant support, including support provided by the Gorchakov Fund, will reach 3.5 million rubles.
An independent contest committee of the Gorchakov Fund will select three best projects of the foreign participants, which will receive financial support of 300, 200 and 200 thousand rubles accordingly.
The forum will end on September 10.
