“Bolivia – the Heart of South America”. A lecture by Maria Luisa Ramos at the Gorchakov Fund
The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund invites you to attend a lecture by Maria Luisa Ramos “Bolivia – the Heart of South America”, which will take place in Moscow on February 28.
Bolivia is a far away, exotic country! Its history presents a reflection of the connection between nature and mankind. The native peoples of Bolivia were able to preserve their traditional lifestyle and a special view of the world despite all the efforts to impose values of the western world onto them. Having appeared on the map almost two centuries ago, Bolivia is slowly becoming a home for all inhabitants of the country. It is important to know that in order to understand the events taking place by the snowy mountain tops of the great Andes.
Scientist and diplomat, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia (2017) Maria Luisa Ramos, who served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bolivia to Russia in 2009-2015, will tell about that and much more during her lecture at the Gorchakov Fund.
The event is open to general public.
