A series of public lectures will take place at Matica Srpska in Novi Sad with the support of the Gorchakov Fund

The Institute for European Studies jointly with Matica Srpska and the Society of Hispanists of Serbia with the support of the Gorchakov Fund will organize a series of public lectures in Serbian Novi Sad.

Professor of RWTH Aachen University (Aachen, Germany) – Cuban philosopher Raul Fornet-Betankourt and Russian diplomat, Doctor of Sciences, expert of the Foundation for Development of the Civil Society “People’s Diplomacy” Stanislav Byshok will present to the audience.

On July 11, Raul Fornet-Betankourt will speak about history and goals of intercultural philosophy in Latin America. The lecture will take place in the Conference Hall of the Institute for European Studies. Beginning is at 12:00 pm CET.

In the evening of the same day, Stanislav Byshok will present his report “Old and New Nations in the Post-Soviet Space – An Example of Ukraine”. Beginning is 7:00 pm CET.

On July 12, the Russian political scientist will give a lecture “Eurosceptics and Right Parties in the EU” (in the library of the Institute for European Studies, beginning – at 12:00 pm CET).

The series of lectures will end with a presentation of Raul Fornet-Betankourt on intercultural philosophy. It will take place at Matica Srpska and will start at 7:00 pm CET.
