A Russian-Chinese conference will be organized with the support of the Gorchakov Fund
On June 2-4, 2020 the X International Conference and Workshop “Russia and China: History and Prospects of Cooperation” will take place.
The conference will be organized with the support of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund. The main organizer of the conference is Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University.
This year, in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection, the plenary meeting of the conference and the sessions will be held online via Zoom Cloud Meetings.
The following speakers will present at the plenary meeting, which will begin on June 2 at 11:00 am Moscow time: Acting Director of the Institute of Far Eastern Studies RAS Aleksey Maslov, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Complex European and International Studies at Higher School of Economics Vasily Kashin, Head of the Department of History of Far East Countries at St. Petersburg State University Vladimir Kolotov, Professor at the Department of Economic Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University Mieczyslaw Sprengel (Poland) and other participants.

June 3 (Moscow time)
6:00 am - 8:00 am “Current Problems of Philology and Intercultural Communications”.
8:00 am -10:00 am “Cooperation of Russia and China in Science and Education”.
10:00 am -1:00 pm “Russia and China in Modern International Relations: Global and Regional Aspects”.
June 4 (Moscow time)
8:00 am -11:00 am “Socioeconomic Development and Cooperation between Russia and China”.
11:00 am -1:00 pm “History of Russian-Chinese Relations”.
The International Conference and Workshop “Russia and China: History and Prospects for Cooperation” has been organized since 2011. During that time, it has turned into one of the most important scientific events, during which Russian and Chinese researchers – representatives of academia from Russia and China – have an opportunity to exchange views on major problems of development and cooperation between the two countries.
