The International Summer School “Prospects and Challenges of Development of International Cooperation in the Balkans” has ended in the Leningrad region. The event was hosted by the Center for International and Regional Politics (CIRP) and is traditionally organized with the support of the Gorchakov Fund.
Participants of the school included students from departments of political science, international relations, sociology, law and journalism from different countries. During the event, the attendees and the experts analyzed opportunities for international cooperation in the Balkans, balance of power among the external actors in the region (Russia, the European Union, Turkey and China), and problems of security and economic development.
