Patokh K. Chodiev

In 1976 graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) with a major in International Law. Co-founder and a major shareholder of Eurasian Natural Resources Co. (ENRC PLC), one of the world's leading natural resources groups. Member of the Board of Directors of the Eurasian Bank. Co-founder and shareholder of IMR (International Mineral Resources), a mining investment company, which consolidates assets of ferronickel, copper and cobalt production in the Balkans, Zambia and Southern Africa. 2005 – President of the World Democracy Fund. Full member of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Kazakhstan.

PhD in Political Sciences. Author of over 30 academic papers on history, politics and economics of Japan. Founder of the International Chodiev Foundation, a charitable organization to promote academic excellence, creativity and innovation in Eurasia and Southeast Asia. Member of the Board of Trustees of the MGIMO Council.
