“World War II in Modern Political Discussions”. A lecture by Alexey Fenenko at the Gorchakov Fund
The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund invites you to attend a lecture by Russian political scientist Alexey Fenenko “World War II in Modern Political Discussions”, which will take place in Moscow on February 4th.
With the beginning of 2020 discussions about the heritage of World War II have already caused diplomatic crises in relations of Russia and Israel with Poland, Ukraine and the United States. Why after almost 75 years countries come into conflicts because of results of that particular war though it was followed by many other wars? What do the results of World War II mean for the future world order including transnational borders? Alexey Fenenko, Associate Professor of the Department of International Security at Lomonosov Moscow State University and a member of the Gorchakov Club, will talk about when and where to expect new conflicts around the “war heritage”.
Venue: Gorchakov Fund (10/1 Yakovoapostolsky pereulok, Moscow).
The event will start on February 4 at 6:30 pm Moscow time (registration will open at 6:30 pm Moscow time).
The language of the event is Russian (without interpretation).
The number of seats is limited.
