The Gorchakov Fund and the European Foundation Titulescu organized a bilateral conference in Bucharest
On September 27, the Russian-Romanian Conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of signing the agreement on restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries has opened in Bucharest. The event was organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, the European Foundation Titulescu and the Embassy of Russia in Romania.
Guests of the conference were welcomed by Executive Director of the Gorchakov Fund Leonid Drachevsky and President of the European Foundation Titulescu Adrian Nestase.
The attendees of the conference will discuss problems of the Versailles system and the evolution of the bilateral relations during the period between the two world wars.
The Russian delegation includes Director of the Center for Political Integration of the Institute of Europe RAS Lyudmila Babynina, Assistant to Vice Rector of MGIMO (U) under MFA of Russia Igor Putintsev, Professor of MGIMO Artur Sagomonyan, and Associate Professor of Moscow State University Alexey Fenenko.
The conference will end on September 28.
