The first run of “Time for Public Diplomacy” is on the air of the Gorchakov TV channel

There is an opening night on the Gorchakov TV channel! The first run of a new show “Time for Public Diplomacy” is on the air.

 

This is a joint project of the Gorchakov TV studio, AcademyTV (Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation) and the Faculty of World Politics of Moscow State University.

 

The topic of the first run focuses on relations between Moscow and Washington. Channel anchor Elza Melkumova is talking to Associate Professor of the Faculty of World Politics at Moscow State University Alexey Fenenko about prospects for Russian-US cooperation including in the field of NGOs.

 

What to expect from a new occupant of the Oval Office at the White House? What sanctions were congressmen from across the ocean planning to introduce against Nicholas I in 1850? Why the agenda of bilateral negotiations is usually negative?
