Alexey Fenenko will present a forecast on the Russian foreign policy to students of Tbilisi University

A Russian expert, senior research fellow at the Institute of International Security Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor at the International Security Department of the Faculty of World Politics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, member of the Valdai International Discussion Club Alexey Fomenko will visit Georgia on April 1. This trip is organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.


Alexey Fomenko will give a public lecture at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He will present a forecast of the Russian foreign policy for 2015 to students and instructors of the university. The forecast will take into account destabilizing factors in international relations and world economy, and will focus on the regional agenda.


After that, Alexey Fomenko will meet with leading political scientists and experts, journalists and heads of think-tanks at the premises of the Russian-Georgian/Georgian-Russian Public Center. Geopolitical strategies in the region, current issues of regional and global security, economic opportunities and challenges under conditions of a financial crisis and prospects for interregional cooperation will be discussed within the framework of an open discussion.


Meetings with the expert are organized by the Russian-Georgian/Georgian-Russian Public Center, which was founded in July of 2013 with support of the Gorchakov Fund and Institute of International Relations (Tbilisi).
