The VII International Russian-Chinese Summer School has opened with the support of the Gorchakov Fund
On July 6, the VII International Russian-Chinese Summer School in International Relations “Economic Instruments of Foreign Policy in the Modern World” opened at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of (HSE) in cooperation with East China Normal University and with the support of the Gorchakov Fund.
An official opening ceremony, where the participants were welcomed by representatives of HSE, East China Normal University and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), took place on July 7.
In 2017, the School is open on July 6-13 and it previous similar frameworks of Russian-Chinese cooperation. The School has brought together students, post-graduates, young scientists, and professors from Russia, China, Vietnam Bulgaria, Iran, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries for the purpose of discussing issues, which are gaining more and more importance in the modern world: international experience of imposing and avoiding sanctions and investment, trade-economic and financial cooperation on multifaceted platforms.
In addition to intensive work at group projects, the participants will meet with Chinese and Russian experts, including with Director of the Department for Support of Projects in the Asia-Pacific Region of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Natalia Stapran, representative of the Gorchakov Fund, junior researcher at Lomonosov Moscow State University Raisa Yepikhina, and Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev.
