The Gorchakov Fund sponsored a conference dedicated to relations between Russia and countries of the Visegrad Group
On July 4, international conference “Relations between Russia and the Visegard Countries in Media Images and in the Mirror of Reality” has opened at Cracow University of Economics (CUE).
Organizers of the event are Central European Institute of International Relations and Cracow University of Economics with the support of the Gorchakov Fund.
Polish and Russia scientists in the field of foreign affairs and world economics representing interests of non-governmental organizations became participants of the conference.
The event was opened by Vice-Rector of CUE Janina Filek. She told about the history and meaning of the Visegrad Group in relations with Russia. The professor urged to begin a dialogue and quoted words by Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz that there was nothing harder on Earth than having a real conversation.
The participants were also welcomed by Dean of the Faculty of Economics and International Relations of CUE Krysztof Firlej.
