A training workshop attended by an expert sponsored by the Gorchakov Fund has ended in Strasbourg
A training workshop for youth dedicated to preservation of historical memory in Europe “Memory and Lessons of World War II” was held at European Youth Center in Strasbourg.
As it was reported earlier, the Gorchakov Fund sponsored participation of Professor of Moscow State University Dr. Alexander Sagomonyan in the event. The expert made a presentation during panel discussion “Historical Memory and Human Rights: Challenges of Today”.
According to press service of the National Youth Council of Russia, 40 participants from 17 countries – members of the Council of Europe, CIS member states and countries with activities related to the topics of the workshop (Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, the Russian Federation, Serbia, Great Britain, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, France and Ukraine) – attended the workshop.
