The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund

About center

The Information Center of the Gorchakov Fund in Kyiv provides a platform for organizing roundtables, discussions and debates, lectures by Russian and foreign experts, meetings of friends, students, post-graduates and teachers from the Institute of International Relations (NAU) and other universities.

The Center’s library has a books collection, which includes a wide variety of information analysis materials on international relations, global politics and economy, history and culture, and is open every day. The publications will be of interest to students of the field-specific universities, who study Russian-Ukrainian relations and integration processes within the CIS space. Access to the library is open to everyone.

Different research and educational events are hosted by the Center once a month.

The Information Center started offering classes of the Russian language and literature in response to requests made by the students.

The Information Center of the Gorchakov Fund in Kyiv began its work in December of 2013 after lengthy negotiations and joint efforts of the Fund and the Institute of International Relations of National Aviation University of Ukraine. Students and teachers of the Institute frequently participated in the Fund’s programs, and representatives of the Fund provided support to participation of Russian experts in the events taking place at the university.

Opening of the Center is a result of our efforts in maintaining friendly connections on the level of students and a scientific-and-expert community of Russia and Ukraine.
